D Day Celebrations

We held a really enjoyable and well attended D Day Celebrations. It offered a great opportunity to recall times when the country pulled together to support our fighting forces and those from all over the world as they endeavoured to free Europe from the grasp of our foe. There were a number of themed stalls, 1940’s music and much laughter and discussion. Not to mention a few more sober moments when we considered the devastation and loss that war brings to all people.
